OK boating gurus, who can guess what this is/who made it? It is not homemade, and was built by a company that is extremely well known for high performance.

Is it a Carlson built for a James Bond movie? Looks mid 70's.

Is it a Wellcraft that was built for that lame show with Hulk Hogan on it?

First guess also would be Carlson, it does how ever look like and is the boat Porsche built a few years back. Wonder if the jet conversion is home made.

Yup, Phil is right. Do you remember the race boat Ferrari built? I'll look for some pics.

Would love to see some Ferrari pics, I have heard them mentioned but do not think I have seen one. There are probably 50 guys that would have caught the Porsche I just got lucky and snuck in there. An "IDEA" maybe when mystery boats are posted the guesses should be PM'ed so more guys could get a shot at anserwing. The poster could cut and paste the results a few days later, I think it would make it more fun!

Think about it what a collectors item, doubt if many were made!

As far as I know, that was the only one made. I saw it a year or so ago (sitting in a friend's "yard of stuff" ) and a recent post here got me thinking about it again. Went fishing with the guy who owns last week it and planned on trying to buy it from him. took some pictures, and when we started talking about it he told me he just sold it to a guy and the check cleared.

Oh well, I am sure if it ran really well, they might have made more, but it still would have been cool to have the only one.

There was a German-American that was CEO in the late '70's, nearly '80's that really tried to expand the Porsche product line up. Built some turbo aircraft engines for Moony. I think those are real collector items.
Anyway, none of these products took off (pun intended) and the family canned him shortly thereafter.

Fishboy, was the guy that owned it named: Ed Medley?
