What prop did you settle on for the Minx?

So far, the 23 Mirage + works good. I'd like to try a 22 Turbo just for giggles though.

Did you try any other props?

Is the Pope Polish?
Does a bear sh*t in the woods?
Is a frogs a$$ watertight?

I take that as a yes. :)

What others did you try? Keep me from trying the same ones. Try any cleavers?

Buizilla, I'll have a 22" Turbo at Cumberland if you want to try it.

Jim - if the 23 Mirage works well, you might want to try the Turbo in 24 or 25 pitch due to the smaller diameter and blade configuration of the Turbo. I'll bring one of each to AOTH but, since the Turbo people will be there, they will have some as well. Hope to see the Floridians Thursday AM.

Well, the Crit is running as of late yesterday. Sounds real good, but needs Q-jet carb tweaking. The hatch wouldn't close with the K&N arrestor, so I had to use the MUCH smaller stock one. The hatch ram is now touching the MSD distributor too.. I already robbed the secondary metering rods and hangar from my Super Stocker carb yesterday, to even make it rev clean on the hose... for a stock LS6 replac. crate motor, i'm pretty impressed so far....
Gotta try for a water test today and break the new engine in for a few hours. Winds-a-howlin though... This engine may need a 24 or 25 Turbo, or maybe even a 4 blade 24 Hydro before all is said and done.
