Oil Pressure gauge question

Hello everyone. I am getting my Magnum ready for the season and one of my gauges is showing no oil pressure. I changed the oil and filter at the end of last season and the gauge worked then. Today I fired her up and the gauge never moved? I shut the engine down right away until I can make sure it is the gauge and not something worse. How can I test the gauge and is there a way to hook up a direct reading gauge on the engine?

Could my oil pump have died? Could it loose its prime? I will check the guage tomorrow, but I will not sleep wondering what else it could be.
