Wow, after having the boat for a month, I finally get it to 160F and sounding good after replacing the thermostat, plugs, cap and rotor. No hesitations, no stumbling on throttle. Poodle thanks for all your help and getting the parts to me. The only problem is I set the plug gap at .035 and just found the gap size should be .045 as found on the engine cowling. Geeeesssssshhhhhhhh, time to pull the exhaust manifolds again. AND the frigin service manual comes in tomorrow. Hymmmmmm, wait to put the stereo in and go boating???? Sounds like a great idea.
Anyone know if any damage can be caused by running the plug gap too short?
Thanks,
Wes
