Hey everyone,
New virus (worm) spreading this weekend. As of Sunday, approximately 3% of the worlds computers (18,000,000+/-) are already infected, and this is expected to exponentially grow when businesses open monday. Good news is so far it does not appear to be malicious. Bad news is that it is a variety that does not need an e-mail or the user opening an attachment to spread- just looks around the Internet for a potential victim and instructs your computer to download it- voila- your infected!

Microsoft already has a patch available to close the vulnerability in its operating system... yep, another "whose yo daddy" to bill gates by some 12 or 13 year old. If you have not done so, please go to Microsoft's site, look in the left hand column for "windows updates" and update your operating system. This should protect you from THIS virus if your computer is not already infected.

If you are currently running a virus software, please update, and if you are not, then I hope you are not able to read this because you really should not be on the Internet without something. :) This one does not appear to be real destructive, but just because the author decided he/she did not want it to be- the little bugger might be in a bad mood the next time he/she creates something like this.
