I need to find a good vinyl cleaner. Everything I have tried so far is more for protection then cleaning, and I have about 16 years worth of dirt and grime.

All ideas appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

ive had good luck with simple green marine. I always try to use the least harsh cleaner that gets the job done, so as not to damage the vinyl......

I use Armor AllĀ® Multi-Purpose Auto Cleaner. It does a great job. Easy to find.

Amazingly the Orange Clean Power Paste(as seen on tv :)) works really good. I'll see if i can locate a before and after picture i took before i did all of my vinyl a month ago.

Whatever you use, don't use any household cleaners as they will destroy the "plasticizer" in the vinyl and cause uv damage and rot.

Might try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It is a sponge sort of thing. Not sure about the plasticizers though.

I have Roll Off, but I always used it clean stains off the hull. It is great stuff.
