Hey..Put the Word out to Woodsy but no reply..Maybe he's away...I did figure out the tough steering problem .I dropped the leg..bought a seal kit..Disconnected the shifter linkage up top..Put :fire: the vise grips an the cable and no movement..Pulled it through and found rust and more rust on the cable. Emery clothed the cable, lubed with 24-C and replaced...Waa Laa problem fixed.Serial number checks out as to the updated cone and shifting fork ..Tomorrow i will run her out in the Straight and see how she likes the rough stuff. Hope to post some pics ..:yes:

I am looking for the manual. Its buried in the garage I think... I'll give you a buzz thuis weekend. I thought your issue was prob cable related, the drive doesn't have enough hours on her to be balky yet! Congrats on the new ride! Its a great machine!
