1985 22 classic windshield

Is it possible that this boat came out of the factory sans windshield? It has nonskid surface that you can't access due to the windshield mounting position.

what boat - have a picture? At least on later 22Cs there is a non-skid surface around the perimeter of the windshield.

My '82 22 Classic came without a windshield (as should be).

I will post a photo this weekend sometime. The reason I say it may not have had one originally is because the boat has what appear to be cockpit cover snaps behind the windshield(that are inaccessable).
