Charlie aka Need for Speed hashed his engine dying problem by PM. I figured I would pass on another dio trick for guys with engines equiped with shift converters. Quite a few times I have found engine dying problems were not related to gas or ignition but due to a drive shift cable or converter malady. One thing for guys to try when having an intermittant problem is to take the boat out where you have "room to run" disconnect the drive shift cable shift into gear and run it. If the problem goes away, atleast you have isolated the problem. Can be several things, adjustment, cable shot, converter spring. Can save some tail chasing and amybe some un neede $$ spent in the wrong direction.
