I remember people looking for hatch lifts. I saw these on another site. I think they would be the heck out of the shakey electric screw type. Looks good too.

Those are the Dana Marine lifts.
I am putting them in my Classic that I am restoring.
They were not cheap! :eek:

I would give up my electro-hydraulic ram system in a heartbeat if I could find another way to lift my hatch. In keeping with the KISS principle... the "wow" factor just doesn't do it for me... in my case its more like the "ZZZZZZ" or "yawn" factor, as in you could take a nap, snap, and a crap while waiting for the hatch to lift.

Anybody ever hear of a non-powered ram strong enough to counterweight the hatch on a 33? Rick? Sean?
