Where does the black wire go?
I just want to be sure as to not blow up my new alternator.
I know where the S, EXC and Orange wires go but not sure where the black one goes on the Alternator. Some how I did not mark it??? Here are some picts of the wires and the old and new alternators. I have marked where the ones I know go. Thanks again for any help.

The black is for the ground. It appears it was connected up and left of 'S'
The new alternator looks ready for it to be connected there as well.

I agree with Greg, but just a little curious why there are three wires to the altenator. Obviously they took a ground off a terminal instead of the block (like a car). One is output to battery positive. Uhmmmm, the other???? External rectifier?

The others I think are for the key on circuit and the other is for sensing battery state to turn on output off and on. FWIW
