Well, after 4 years, we've outgrown our 16 classic. Boat is too small for the entire family to enjoy. It's also too small for us to be weekending on Lanier with a 1yr old. So, very reluctantly, we must sell the boat.

Asking $14,500

White 1997 Donzi 16 Classic w/Teal Stripes. 4.3LX V6. AlphaOne w/Drive Shower. 4 Blade Prop. Sony FM/AM/CD (detachable face) w/2 speakers. Gaffrig gauges. 106.3 hours on engine. 48MPH GPS, Estimate 50-52@WOT. Cockpit cover plus full cover. Matching Eagle Trailer. Boat always cleaned, covered, and parked in garage.

Comes with all life jackets, ski ropes, and a tube. Original Faria Gauges, Original Starter. Battery and Plug wires have been replaced.

Fullsize pictures forthcoming.

Ok, need to correct some info. We've had the boat 3 years because I've only been on the registry 2... :boggled:

Time really does fly...

Hi-res pics have been taken, but I'm having issues getting them off of the home pc. Looks like I'll be going to get some floppy disks. Dial-up stinks. :banghead: I hope to have this resolved and the pics posted by tomorrow.

Yup 56k Oh the pics did take awhile, I just sold my 91 16 with 78 hours. It was real clean due to not being used and dry stored for 6 years. I got 10K for it, I think looking at yours it is priced very fairly. ?? Whats Next ??

MOP - Thanks, I do think the price is reasonable...

Roadtrip SE - Thanks! It will be a difficult parting of ways... but...

As far as what's next? Well, we don't really know yet. But there definitely is a Donzi somewhere in the future  . We may start looking into the 22 classics. But with time being so crunched right now, it will probably be a year or two before we start seriously searching...

I maintained from the beginning when I joined the registry that the boat was not in mint condition, but I do believe it is in excellent condition. So, exactly what is wrong?

Light oxidation on stripe (needs a good waxing), Depthfinder works sporadically (sp). Pinstripe tape is missing in one small section, Small indention on left rear corner (above stripe), 3 Very Small cracks on right bow (top), maybe 2 inches or less and very fine (hairline?). I have no idea where these came from, only noticed them out taking pics this time... Small crack on bow (bottom, 1st and only trailering incident :banghead: )... All these small items are documented in the following pics.

The one thing that I did not have a clear pic of is the right rear corner, just under the rub rail. There is some light scuffing that is about 3 inches long.

Well, there's nothing else to say or take pictures of... boat has now been fully disclosed. It will remain on the registry until sold or we talk ourselves out of selling it!

Best,
-CnV & family

I'll be extending this offer beyond Donzi.net around the first of next week. However, I would prefer it go to the good and appreciative home of a registry member...

If interested, please PM or email me.

Thanks,
