Thought a few would get a giggle out of this, it was on display at the antique boat show at the 1000 Islands last year. It was the very first sea plane trainer built for the USN. The lower portion contained an engine with a prop sticking out the back it had dive planes or wings whatever and rode under water giving the trainee the feeling of a real landing and take off at break neck speeds of about 3 knots. They only built One I wonder "Y"
