Well, after a long hiatus, I'm finally back and with a new home for the GT.

Here's the 502, hull and deck (in the background) Still left with installing the tank and gelcoating the inside of the hull. Then let the fun begin...

Cool Nate, Good to see you this weekend at Mt. Dora. I want a ride in your beast when you finish.

Simply georgous! But I am jealous, you southern boys end up having some of the best work shops.

Looking good Nate!
What I wouldn't do for a garage like that.

Engine looks fanstastic Nate. What exhaust are you using?

Drop me a line about picking up those seats.

Great job Nate. The boat, the engine, the shop, what's next?

Thanks all, for your compliments.

I have a lot on my plate right now, but will find time to foam in the tank and glass in the wood strip which the deck fastens to. (inside the hull)

RickR,
502 Gen VI, Merlin marine heads, Comp. Cams 308 duration cam, (look out idle :) ), 10.01:1 compression, Dean Nickerson modified 980 Holley, Merc. T-Bolt IV ignition, Stainless Marine Gen. 3 exhaust - dry 4.5" pipes with external water dumps.

B/W 72C trans. and last but not least, Arneson #6 drop box surface drive.

I still have to swap out the 1.56 gears for 1.32's.

My father gets to take all the credit for the garage...it's the first time in my 15 year ownership of the GT that she's finally resting indoors. ...

I finally broke down and picked up a new digi cam, so more pics will follow as I continue work.
