My rubrail on my 22ZX needs to be replaced, my full boat cover stained my rail red on one side. The question is where is the best place to purchase the rubrail, and is it a big job to replace? It is the center rubrail.

If the rubrail is "J" shaped aluminum when looking at it from the edge, it's from TACO METALS, MIA-MUH, FLA-RI-DAH. Talk to the Poodle-man about the phone number, ...............the MadPoodle knows all.

No POLITICS here. I called Taco to buy and was told they do not sell retail. I went thru West Marine to purchase. Taco does have a brochure which is available online, showing the different rub rail for a particular model. Hope this helps.

i ordered 20' lengths from alan at rubrails.com. most sell 6' and 12'. shipping was a wad because of the truck freight. there are a few variations. j-rails (http://www.rubrails.com/aluminum_solid.html)

A 22Zx does not have an aluminum insert/center, contact Donzi, we got a new insert last year.

TACOs rule of thumb is that the order must be over $200.

Mine has the plastic rubrail, Brian did you install the rubrail yourself. Give me a call when you get a chance.

The factory installed mine while it was in Fla.
