Kill switch wiring.

Weather is starting to break, and I'm starting to make a list of my boat projects. High on my list is to do is to hook up my kill switch. I was going to just hook it inline with the switched wire on my ignition switch. I dont know why it was disconnected in the first place? Is this a good way to do it, or is there a better way?

I do like the switch. Its one of those old school round ones that you see on a lot of the old magnums.

You got it goes in the ignition circut off the key.
