Here are some pictures of a good friend of ours (Tommy) after his Brand New $129,000 Kenworth Tri-Axle rolled while dumping at one of our sites. This was NOT driver era. Turns out the hardened bolts snapped that held the aluminum body to the frame. 27tons later and this is what happens.

Thats your truely in the Skid Steer getting the dirt out so we can move the body.

Enjoy....... :eek!:

That sucks, that was a beautiful truck. I'll bet he had a hell of a ride till it bottomed out...

seeing a bent "ram" makes you think about the forces involved here...

Scott, take that suspect bolt to a metallurgical lab, and confirm it's Grade 8 properties. Needs throrough shear testing. Might want to take other hardware from the rig as well, and have it tested...

Lot's of offshore hardware floating around that is NOT Grade 8 true spec, despite what the markings say. The truck dealership, if they sold the *assembled* package, needs to breathe VERY HARD on their body & equipment vendor for proof of compliance.

Looks like a new glider kit is in the works?
