Sitting Around on a Rainy Friday Night with the Boys and We were Wondering What a New 04 26Zx with the 500EFI in it Would Cost. In a Recent Post We Found that It Would Do 72MPH. That's Movin for a 5800 LB Donzi. Thanx!!!

You are looking at 90,000 Before I would buy a 26ZX with a 500 I would by a 28ZX with twin 350 Mags, There are some out there for $90.000 for a 2004

The following is taken from this page on the Donzi Marine site:

http://www.donzimarine.com/DonziWebsite/Site/Boats/Classic/22classic/22cpage.html

ENGINE OPTIONS
ENGINE HP
6.2 MPI B1 320
496 Mag. B1 375
496 Mag. H.O. B1X 425

A Special Edition with a 500 was offered in 2003, I think. You may be thinking that the 18' Classic is only offered with the 350 Mag, and not the Scorp any more.

Tony -- Thanx So Much for Your Help & the Link We were primarily lookin at the 22ZX's The Classics are Awsome but the Orders from the Woman is a ZX -- I was hoping the 2004 ZX Came with a Little More than the 350 Mag
The 377 Scorpion would be Great. Like I said earlier Rather the 26ZX but If I Do that I'll be Living in the Garage. THanx Again !!!

Thanx !! Boxy -- I guess the answer to More HP in the 22zx is Bolt-Ons that Don't Void the warrranty. Might be getting ahead of myself but it sure is nice
to play "What If"

IMO I would buy the 22ZX with the 350 MAG motor put a procharger on it and you have one hell of a fast boat :hyper: and dollers and cents wise you will be spending less than a 26ZX with the 500 efi. Frank C. knows all about big horsepower in a 22ZX. Good luck :wavey:

Okaaay -- Pretty Much Sold on a 22ZX -- At 90,000 I know a 26ZX is Outa My League -- So What's a 22ZX Gonna Cost Me with All the Bells and Whistles-- Even If a 350Mag is as High as I Can Go---
AND -- Wanna Thank Everyone for Their Input

You can get into a new one for under 40,000 with a nice graphic package, I would also get external steering stock with the boat and with the a new Whipple Charger thats made for the 350 Mag you would be running 80 mph..
