Having spent a great number of years as an RV tech for my fathers company, I'll throw my 2 cents your way. An electric brake controller needs to be suited for the trailer/weight for your application. Tekonsha makes a few different styles with applications varying from 1-3 axles. Some load variances are incorparated into the module boards. Also you want one with an adjustable wheel for brake adjustments once mounted under the dash. Be sure to wire the P+ to circuit breaker mounted close to your battery. ie 15 amp. and use nothing less than 14G wire from the blue wire (brakes) to your Bargman 7 prong plug. Don't piggy back your pos wire (red) to a fuse block under the dash. Hope this helps. Not too familiar with the Draw Tite model, but it might work for ya just great? I will make a list, once I finish moving, of some RV parts(new) that I will donate to the Registry for those in need of the odd nic nak.
Cheers,Mike

This one I had for a travel trailer I sold. It is adjustable.

My 2000 Harley Davidson F150 came with the trailer tow package. I put my controller away for safe keeping when I sold my 99 F150. It was REALLY safe keeping, as I still can't find it...Any luck with finding the mounting bracket? Ed

I think it may be at my dad's house. I'm going there today.
