I am interested in getting license plate frames for my vehicles. Also plates for the front of the vehicles. Does Donzi sell these or has anyone looked into custom making a design?

There are stamped front plates on ebay now. Just do a search under "donzi"

When Mike Miller was providing the cool stuff freebies from the factory, he gave out quite a few DONZI license plates. I asked about the possibility of frames as well, but they didn't have any more. "Donzi" is a registered trademade so you have to be careful and follow the laws on how you go about having this things made.
If someone out there is well connected with a source of custom license plate frames, let me know. There is probably a good market within this club for frames for a tow vehicle, trailer, and daily driver.
I could see folks wanting two frames at least:
"I'd rather be driving my Donzi" for the tow car/daily driver
"My other boat is a Donzi" for those with brand X to trailer as well
"Donzi" for their Donzi trailer plate.
And don't forget that we would also want a "Donzi Registry" frame

Okay, then, I'll go first. I would love to have 2 license plate FRAMES that have the "DONZI REGISTRY" logo words on the bottom of the frame. Black frame is nice, but chrome is okay too.
The COOLEST choice would be for a black frame and, at the bottom only, the EXACT logo with boat as seen at the top of this page.

You have to stick to simpleness hear or the cost can get crazy. Agreed the Black frame would be nice with "Donzi Registry" on it and maybe "Donzi" on top in a chrome/silver paint type lettering. Better yet on the bottome have www.donzi.net (http://www.donzi.net) and then on the top have the larger bigger silver letters "DONZI"

Sweet!

Aluminum??? would that work? I know the reciever hitch covers as done (they we $50 each) in aluminum and a milled finish were NICE as you could paint or anodize the negative area and polish the positive ...Just a thought.

It can be done! I saw plates at the Detroit auto show on the new Ford products with sayings like "Built in Detroit as God intended!" all spelled out in brushed aluminum. Very cool.

Simple Donzi font lettering with maybe a Classic dolphin-lion logo mixed in.

It would match the aluminum trailer receiver on the back of the EX!

Glad to see there is an interest. I would be looking for 2 plates and 3 frames. I was thinking of the plates with the Donzi logo black background with white lettering and a red Z. The frame would be nice if it were polished metal with black and red enamel. A second style with the traditional dolphin and lion logo should also be offered. Here is a link to a site with several designs, none are necesarily relevant but it shows what is possible and the related costs. http://www.autoplates.com/License%20Frame%202.htm I also include a pic of the Cigarette frame for reference. I have seen the Formula plates that Cuda posted and they are very nice.

I would take two with "DONZI" on top and " w.w.w.donzi.net" on bottom. Then I need one for my trailer that has "STICK IT IN" on top and" GET IT WET"on bottom.

what about something simple for the plates, like the first image in whatever color combination turns out to be the most popular.

Although I am sure it will be less popular, I thought I would throw this out there anyway (in any color combination).

Great work, Brandon! I pick one from column A and one from column B!
Actually, I liked the left column bottom on the frames and right column middle on the plates.

I really like the look of the bottom left frame. What if the text were reversed. (web address on top, Donzi logo on Bottom?) If they are being created, I'll take three.

Thank You Guys!

The point was to Give Scott (Harbor Master) A better idea of what we all would like to get possibly made. What's everyone else think?

I have a place I get all my stuff done at...window graphics, keychains, plates, and frames...they do an awesome job, at a great price.

See "CrackerJacks" avitar.

LOVE CUSTOM STUFF!

Well, while Harbormaster and Speed Racer work on this idea, I have something for those who can't wait. I have a "spare" Donzi license tag, straight from the factory (actually Mike Miller) and still in the plastic wrapper. The tag has a black background, large red DONZI, light gray ZX in the background, and Beyond Performance in small grey lettering below the red DONZI lettering. It is stamped aluminum.
Here is what I will do. It goes to the highest bidder posted on this thread by 10:00PM Eastern time, April 1st (no connection with April Fools day). Highest bidder will be notified by me on this thread and will then mail a check for the winning bid directly to Harbormaster for the Donzi Registry fund. When Harbormaster e-mails me and says the check has cleared the bank, I will mail the plate directly to the winner. If you want to increase your bid, you must post a new reply to the existing thread.
Ready..., set..., go!

Please post a pic of the plate. However in the mean time I'll start the bid at $20

Tango,
that is a great idea!!! You might want to move this idea to its own thread so people don't miss out. Additionally, I may have an item or two that I could do the same with. I will look.

Toona,
Thanks for the excellent bid. Looks like you scared all the boys away. Now we just have the REAL players - so far that is YOU! Cross your fingers that none of the real high rollers see this thread. I will be happy to send you the plate when this is over!
