It's enroute! one 1999 Bravo freshwater use . . . soon to be mounted in a new transom on a 1969 Corsican! . . . .

No black or white debate here . . just the mix of new and old technology . . . :crossfing :)

So my question . . prop recommendations . . I need a place to start.

Power is a built 302 . . ~ 325 HP good for 5500 rpm
Drive is a 1.5 : 1

As I need to buy a new shift cable, should I set this up to be a LH rotation ? My steering is on the left side . .

Doesn't anyone want that brand new Volvo Ultra?? It's got to go!!!

TIA,
MPHATC . .off to real work :convertib

350 mag mpi / 1.5 bravo / 18 classic ~ 23 inches of pitch and 5000 rpm...

how fast do you want to spin the 302 and what is she making for torque at and above 5K... that will dictate what prop you can spin and how fast...

Yes again to the LH rotation. It has been agreed upon that this acts well with the LH helm/weight placement. What pitch is the Ultra? I'd love to try a 26" (I currently have a 24") but I'm thinking they are kind of rare.

Mario one of our respected southern counterparts did say the 18 responded real well with a cleaver. Me thinks you should wait till its up and running and borrow a few once broken in. Don't end up like me with more stuff than I know what to do with.
