Yes I have some pictures. I am located outside Detroit. Engine is a 96 502 carb motor. The interior is in good condition no ripps or tears. Hours not shure because engine was replaced. Wiring has been partly dissassembled to shifter/throttle and to one of the gages. Previous owner was looking for cause as to why the engine wouldnt fire after winter storage. I figure it is the gear shift ignition lockout or ignition module is the cause or corroded wire end. Engine turned over but wouldnt fire. One gage is cracked I think it is the drive trim guage. Brovo drive needs work on lower unit but would run in its current condition it has too much play at the prop. The prop is a 21 P 3 blade SS. I have begun pollishing exterior and cleaned all the seating. One side of the boat is about 70 percent finished. Looks great so far.

Might be some real interest here in Vermont. Ran it by the wife who (gulp) has some influence and my brother (who doesn't want to be blown away in his Z21...) and if I could show them some pics it would help. The nonstart problem could be as simple as the kill switch or lots more complex, but if the upholstery is okay, (and the hull), could be ideal for me. You did not mention anything about a trailer so I guess that's not in the deal. Does it still have the tonneau cover?

Look forward to seeing, hearing more.

Thanks, Turbo for the complete photos. Everything appears exactly as you said. Still working on the other half of the decision making team who refuses to give up the Sweet 16 no matter what.

Just a note here about the engine. It has a 96 502 in it confirmred by the block P/N. Under that 7.4 (454) flame arestor (that only handles about 350 CFM) sits a 750 Edelbrock carb.

And this is a problem because???? :D :D :D

The other Scott

16, 22, looks like next year you need to buy an 18 :)

Yeah, Scott, I have a bad habit of collecting things which my wife considers to be crap (her words, not mine). If it was up to me, I'd get an 18, too.... I seem to add more stuff like cars without unloading the old ones (anybody want a great 1990 Audi V8 Quattro?). Drives her crazy, & I love it. But then again, here in Vermont you're supposed to be putting junk on your front lawn like rusty snowmobiles, hay combines, boats, pink flamingos. I'd really love to add this 22 to the collection... How big a Holley could I fit on that...say 900 cfm?

It's going to be moving east just as soon as I can arrange reliable transport. I've gotten prices from the net but I would rather deal with someone that I can get some trustable feedback on. Dave is not sure how good the trailer is, so the boat and trailer will have to be carried on a flatbed. Does anyone have someone they have dealt with and feel good enough about to recommend? The boat and trailer can be gotten to a loading dock for loading onto a flatbed, and I can arrange for it to be unloaded from the flatbed here.

Also, I've gotten different answers / advice on whether or not to shrinkwrap or how to have it prepared for the haul from Michigan. Can someone with experience in this give me some advice?

Thanks,

rayjay
