Might be a dumb question but what is the difference between a 22ZX and a 22ZX Limited Edition :eek: :eek: Just Curious :pimp: :pimp:

I was wondering the same thing. I saw a for sale ad for one on-line last week. I've never heard of a 22ZX limited edition. They used to make the 22 Daytonas and Scorpions but I can't recall any limited editions. Could it be just something the dealar made up and put in the ad??? Where did you see it?

I saw it in an ad on Boat Trader online there are two 22ZX Limited Editions for sale. I think Typhoon Performance had one for sale a few months ago maybe Frank can give us more info ;)

I bought a new 2001 22zx in 2002 that said limited edition on the invioce. I see no difference. It came with finish line graphics that i believe anyone can order.

Interesting. I looked at the two ads and they are different boats at different dealers (although both in Ohio), and the graphics packages were entirely different. No data online at donzi.com to shed any light either.
Actually, if they wanted a real limited edition, they should fill the engine compartments with 496Mag HO's and B1XR drives. THEN they would have a worthy Limited Edition. Too bad that combination is not available on the 22ZX. Just have to stick to the 22 Classic where it IS available. :cool!:

The 22ZX we had was a Daytona Limited Edition, I believe they had color matched engine compartment

I saw the ad too, I can shed no light. Mine was a regular old 22ZX, non-Daytona.

Last winter, just after I bought the new 28ZX, I listed and sold my 1997 22ZX.

It had a "Special Edition" emblem. For what it's worth they were cool graphics...

Here is a picture of my 22zx. This is suppose to be a limited edition, but they did'nt say how limited. I last heard they only make 500 boats a year. Limited edition or not, I Love my boat.

Hi Bryan, Thanx. That's Lake Wallenpaupack, It's in NE PA. off I-84. 13 miles long. It's nice during the week, no speed limits. Weekends are a little crowded. But that means more babes in bikinis!!!!!!

Hi undertaker, I'm not lake front, I'm 1/4 mile up from shoreline. More privicy back there. I make alot of noise. [electric guitar, old harleys, and my ZX]. :beer:
