Dear Jim:

The Donzi Minx was produced from 1986 thru the 1988 model year. The 1988 version featured a stainless windshield made in Italy. Approximately 12 boats were built with the italian windshield. I own the last Minx ever built. She was made in September of 1987. I would be glad to answer any additional questions you might have concerning the history of the Minx.

You know guys, I'm really new to Donzi ownership. I think I have hull no. 57 (if I remember correctly). But Jim is allways talking about LE models.... What is a "LE" model :confused: :confused: :confused:

------Hey Jim, I found a real nice Minx LE up here in Frigidville late last summer. Dont know what year it is as it wasnt for sale,and the owner wasnt around. Still belongs to the original owner and he bought it right out of the Detroit Boat Show. Of course thats when there were real DONZIs at the Detroit Boat Show. Its black,and,forgive me,Im just not sure,are they all black? Sits in front of his parents house in the summer on a lift on Lake Huron. The LE refers to Limited Edition. Usually a sought after run of boats made by Donzi. They can and tend to hold their value a little more than the other runs of production although having said that, it always depends on how much someone is willing to pay for your ride..ie: condition , total hours etc. :)
