Hello-
Looking at Donzi 28zx that when pulling drives for service was found to have both couplers worn. Any idea if these can be replaced withour completely removing engines? Looks like there is space in the engine compartment to slide the motors back toward the rear seat and change the couplers. Has anyone done this and if so wat the cost would be to replace both?
Thanks,
Dave

It's usually a 3 to 5 hour job to remove an engine and the same to re-install it. Why not do it the right way and remove the engine. That way, you can check the condition of the oil pan, starter, tranny cooler, etc. and do other things that will prolong engine life.

This past weekend, I thought I had broken a coupler, too. Turned out ot be some grass on the prop. Whew......
