yo red dog, the knoxville show SUCKED. it was like bass boat and float boat hell. i hope the one at the expo center next weekend is better.

the triumphs and victory cycles from polaris on chapman where interesting , but the in general, all the boats where black anchor junk.

i did slip a bugger on the gear shift on the $471,000 carver just for fun.

i'm going to slap some varnish on the woody in the next couple weeks so you can come over and check it out. ricks 502 is back from the machine shop, so that will be assembled when he gets back from florida.

yeah Ricksbro - the show was pretty lame. I expect the Expo show will be the same but I'll probably go anyway.

All these dealers kept saying this or that boat of their's was fast. Big ugly bow/cruiser types (Rinkers, Chapperals, etc). I'd say yeah, but fast is relative. They would ask what I had and then acknowledge "oh, they're nice" These peolple had no clue.

The old man dealing the Allison's knew though. He was running a 225 Merc on his.

I have ridden in a friend's Allison, and it was quite a ride!!! 98mph across Lake Allatoona was pretty amazing. Nice little boats but need calm water for sure.
