WHY.... Don't get me wrong, I still love mine after 14 years, but with the boat you have, why are you interested in a 16OB? The one listed for sale looks much like mine except the transom looks like it has been altered.... the cutout for the motor is not as deep as mine (also a '76) and has square corners whereas mine, and all others I have seen, are rounded and smoothly blend with the lines of the boat... PS... lifting the deck to get to the gas tank on a 16OB is problematic as the motorwell is glassed to the transom and must be cut free, otherwise the deck just unscrews like on the inboards. Spent about $25K reworking and repowering mine a couple years ago, and most people who saw it thought it was new before I even started.

I could also supply you with a 16 hull for peanuts (not an original tho) it is a "splash" from 1972 locally under a tarp...

I had a guy call me today from Jax, Fla. His got stolen and stripped. He wants $5000 on a trailer. He will post here later this week. Had a 150 Merc, it's a '74 model completely redone before stolen. sounded like an excellent condition hull.
