Let me first say that I am in favor of this amendment.

However, the primary reason that judges and politicians are having a tough time with this is because the original Pledge of Allegiance did not include the phrase "Under God"

I don't want to start any controvery on this subject or on the board. God knows that I have already done to much of that.

I think some wording changes are just fine, everyone has his and her beliefs. That is one of the prime thing this county is about freedom of choice. But if you are an American how dare you not pledge your self to our country. Maybe I am just to darn easy, I believe everyone has the right to do most anything that does not harm another. But don't let this Old Fart catch you without your hand on your chest. No matter how you swing on the issues we face in this world we must at all cost stand together Like it or Not!
