That Mustang coupe looks a lot better than the convertible. I love how the exhaust tips are flush mounted on the rear bumper.

Thanks for posting the pics Randy.

I've now seen the car from every angle.
I'll see it for myself at NADA in San Francisco here in a couple of weeks.

The styling is pretty cool all the way around,
especially the tail lights. Then we get to the front, hello 1960's! Way to retro for me....

This being said, my 2003 Cobra is by far the finest, fastest, and best looking Mustang I have ever owned. Ford has got it down, so I'm sure the 05 will be a fine piece of muscle car. Can't wait to see it and drive it!

Todd, Nice looking ride. It's almost the natural progression all over again. The SN95's (94-98) were supposed to be a modern day throwback to the 64 1/2 - 66 coupe days with the pony in the grille, the three taillights and the quarter "coves" in the side. If you remember the 67-69 Mustangs were much larger (to fit the BB's in them) and bulkier. Notice the new Mustang concept is a throwback to the 67-69 days. I love the car and the now fastback style with the GT500 esque front end. Here in Detroit, it seems the designers are always a step ahead of their time. The cars they put out are so new the consumer sometimes balk at the styling, but over a short course these radical designs become accepted, the new trend, then passe.

Anyone seen the pic of how the gauges will look? I hope they change it, looks to be hard to see in any light, i gotta get a scanner....

Love the look of the new Stang! I had many growing up. My favorite was my 69 Mach 1. This front end looks like the 69/70. The 69 was the only Mustang made with dual headlights, which I liked. :)

WOW!! I have already told the Princess to start saving! As a long time Mustang fanatic, I can't wait to see how the concept turns out. I wonder if the directionals will be sequential like on the 67 GT-500's? Maybe even functional brake scoops?

Sequential tail lights are in the plans (also like the old Cougar's). I have some additional photo's that I will post tonite.
