Do you know where that is in Michigan? It is way up in da UP ehh..... The rabbits ear for those in other parts of the country. Nobody with much sense goes up there in the winter, unless you want to do some major snowmobile trails. Oh yea, and college students. Well come to think of it I didn't have much sense when I was in college so forget college students.

Yeah, it may be cold in Michigan, but the two glorious weeks of summer that we get more than make up for it! wink

HEY!!!!!!!!!! i spent 4 years living in Houghton harbormaster! now you went and made me homesick! :(

nothing like WOT in a classic down the portage... :)

only 7 degrees? that;s shorts and t-shirt weather!!!

january 1998, i was living across US-41 from campus and i vividly remember peeking out from under teh blanket and out the window to see this hanging road sign flying parallel to the ground. That's about as far as you could see too... classes were optional for 4 days straight cause ambient was hovering at a saltry - 22... with winchills in the -50 range... MTU actually cancelled one day... only cause the governor called to make em cancel... windchill hit a blistering -65... eek!

i still wonder who the hell pissed mother nature off that week!
