I have never posted pictures before so hopefully this goes well. Here are a couple of things that I have been doing lately.
This is a picture my daughter's room that is almost done. We have been slowly redoing all of the rooms in the house. It's a long term hobby.
http://www.donzi.net/photos/jpranckun01.jpg
This is my baby. It was my first car. It's a 67 Mustang GTA. The old story, too much money in it and it's still not done.
http://www.donzi.net/photos/jpranckun03.jpg http://www.donzi.net/photos/jpranckun02.jpg
This is my KTM 250, I haven't got to ride it in a couple of months because the motor went, but man is it fun when it runs.
http://www.donzi.net/photos/jpranckun05.jpg
Last is one for Ranman. It's my brother-in-laws Mustang that we fool around with. It's freshly painted and powered. It's got a powerdyne supercharger. This thing flies.

Jake, Very nice Stanger. You obviously saw mine. Here's a few pics of my buddy's car. Runs high 12's, has the best of everything and is also one hell of a Notchback sleeper. Like I said, In Detroit, less is more.

During those long rainy winter months up here in Seattle, I spend my time making Music.

I'm in a local rock band called "Not Davis". Check out our Website. Not Davis (http://www.notdavis.com)
I'm the guitarist on the Right
http://www.donzi.net/photos/egudgel42.jpg

My personal favorite type of music is Surf Rock....last year I bought a digital 8 track and started doing a little recording on my own. I recorded this (http://www.donzi.net/photos/egudgel1.mp3) song last spring. I played every part, and recorded and mixed it myself.....it's not much - but I'm just learning about this recording stuff.

Alas, Celene, I fear you are right. I'd venture to guess that far more praying goes on around here on Saturday afternoons than Sunday mornings

Now if they could just find a way to dig a trench from the Black Warrior River to Bryant-Denny Stadium deep enough for boating we could take a hint from our UT bretheren and boat to the games!

FYI - UT isn't the only Top 10 football program with a small "Boat-in" Stadium.... :D

That's breathtaking. How in the world do you get from the boat to the stadium?

BTW: Auburn University recently announced plans to allow a select few fans to tote their john boats to Jordan Hare Stadium and flote them on one of the University catfish ponds prior to each game. For an additional donation to the athletic department, AU grads can also participate in Auburn's BBTTG Program ("Bring Bessie to the Game"). Unveiled at a recent cow pattie toss, the BBTTG plan allows a grads to haul their favorite livestock to the campus on game day. AU President William Muse noted "we're just trying to help our alumni feel at home."

There are a couple of big docks right in front of the stadium...The small boats usually just drop off the folks at the docks....the larger boats anchor and use their dinghy's to do the same. There is usually someone who stays on the boat during the game - hence why I've never actually boated to a game (I don't want to leave my boat with someone else...)

Oh yeah....I'm adding Husky Football to my list of other hobbies.....now I've managed to tie this back to the original post wink

This is my hobby. I've been doing it about 10 years now. I machine piece and hand quilt on a hoop. My first project was a queen size quilt for my sister's wedding gift.

http://www.donzi.net/photos/DAbel1.jpg

Chris' quilt is on the left, Katie's is on the right. They both sleep with them every night.

http://www.donzi.net/photos/DAbel2.jpg

This is Joey's. I just started quilting the border and it should be finished in a few weeks.

http://www.donzi.net/photos/DAbel3.jpg

This is Donnie's. I pieced it a couple of years ago but the project was bumped when I got pregnant with Joey. That was the only reason he agreed to his vasectomy-he wants his quilt finished! eek!

My biggest passion is hunting white tail deer, wild turkey, and black bear here in PA. When I can't do that and get free time, I shoot combat pistol and long range rifle, hopefully life will slow down and I can join the leagues again soon.

I enjoy wild hog hunting. I like to catch them live. Try going out in the middle of the night with nothing but a dog and a piece of string to do battle with one of these ill tempered monsters that can weigh three times as much as you. Talk about an adrenaline rush!

I also like fishing,

duck hunting

and shooting

I like to light fires. I'm fortunate enough to have a friend, Rich Gibson, who owns a company called Rich's Incredible Pyro. We do Special F/X at airshows. Its the same kind of stuff you see in the movies, explosions and huge fireballs. We have worked with everything from WWII warbirds to the modern military,F-18's, A-10's and so on. Basically what we do is to fill garbage bags with gasoline and wire it to usually around 4lbs. of dynamite then wait for the plane to do his bombing run and blow it up so it looks like he dropped a bomb on the airfield. Hollywood will spend all day wiring one shot and then film it form a dozen different angles. We will spend all day wiring about 40 shots and then do it live with aircraft in front of 20,000 people. Its real serious work and real serious FUN. Rich's signature shot is the 1,000' wall of fire, 500 gals. of gas streched out over 1,000' and then blown up. Its awsome. We usually sit less than 100 ft. away from the fire and the planed are flying right overhead.I've been with Rich and his wife Dee for about 11yrs. now and have been all over the U.S., Canada, and as far away as Australia, just blowing s#*t up and having a ball. I'll try to post some pics, but I havn't had much luck with that. http://www.donzi.net/photos/Me1.jpg www.donzi.net/photos/W.O.F..jpg (http://www.donzi.net/photos/W.O.F..jpg) www.donzi.net/photos/GMcCoy1.jpg

when i am not on donzi.net or at the local marina, i am probably out on the lake wakeboarding or running a 44" radio controlled scarab with a 30 cc homelite. i whish it were a full size scarab but for now, it helps keep me doing something without having a boat o be on all the time. i will post pics in a few days of the scarab.

I posted earlier on this thread about my favorite hobby, but couldn't get the pics to come up. I think I have got it now. If any of you would like to see what my favorite hobby is in person then come to the International Airshow in Salinas Calif. this weekend and watch the performance. I will be working with Rich's Incredible Pyro setting up and setting off this kind of Special F/X. http://www.donzi.net/photos/walloffire.jpg
