This is an article from the same issue as the Dog vs Cone Clutch article (see @ Performance Talk).

You guys are gonna hate this cause it's really nice information but exceptionally crummy scan qualtiy. Sorry!

Figured I'd go ahead and post it since I took the time to scan it.

I'd like to say I'll do it over sometime, but I'm not sure I have the patience!

Anyhow, check out the info. about the Yamaha drive. I'm not sure I've ever seen one.

A guy was getting parts for one this summer when I was getting parts for my old Volvo. It was the first time I felt like my parts were more readily available than the guy in line beside me (usually a guy with a Mercruiser).

I know I got another article somewhere that bragged on the Yamaha drives (said they were nice shifting, etc).

Said their owners loved them and try to keep them up since they quit making them.

Interesting. 4 producers covered here; now 2 are gone. Kind of like the Beatles! Where'd that come from?

Anybody ever see a Yamaha drive in a Donzi Classic??
