OK, if anybody knows, it's you guys. I happened upon it on vacation last week. Here's what I know:

1968 bench seat Hornet, yellow, white stripe, int. & tonneau. Faded gelcoat, waterline down & drive have been anti foul painted. 305 EFI w/ 100 hrs., 290 Volvo with trim added (recent rebuild, anti fouled black), fresh water cooled, stainless prop (don't know size/pitch), new fuel tank, covered through-the-hull exhaust holes. Windshield has some small cracks at the mounting points. Gelcoat looks decent & would probably buff, interior is solid, would need some rechrome on emblems & hardware. Here are some pics. What do you think?

Buy it regardless. $10K...this is a once in lifetime thing and you can always sell it again in a day or two.

BUY IT !!!

Actually, it looks really GOOD!

Look at your 401 k. You'll get a better return on the donzi. Or you enjoy the money going a lot more

Chris and I looked at this boat last year. The picture makes her look a lot better than she really is. To make it nice again, would entail a FULL restoration. I looks like it's never been covered. Not abused per se, just a little neglected. Also, it looked like ther were a couple of soft spots in the coring, and stress cracks in the usual places.....
