Bitter-sweet! Weather was great! Had lots of fun going to the cider mill, eating fresh donuts and getting pumpkins with the kids.
BUT, it is also the weekend that we closed up our up north get-away. This means shoehorning all of the boats and tractors into the pole barn and shed. Draining the water out and winterizing the camper.........
Thinking Spring!

Summer ends after Palatka... Yep, and the day after is spring.
Oh, and to answer your question, the weekend was tolerable. :)

Thanks for asking, Brad! I enjoyed some quality time on the shores of Lake Chatuge, but it was far too low to do any serious boating. Looks like y'all had way more fun!
Spent the weekend at my parents' mountain home trying to rid them of an infestation... for some reason the pest control companies won't take on this job. (Nor will animal control.)

But mostly sat on the porch and waited for the leaves to do their thing. Discovered that leaves can change, but only if they really want to...

Blew up the motor on the way back from the races in St. Pete. Saved gas on the way back though since Budmann towed me in. Thanks Bro!
Before anyone else says it, yes, I am having that dejas vu feeling. I am sure there are some Pics somewhere that Budmann is dying to post.
