Hiked Black Mt. Point last weekend, took some photos of the Lake from the top. One of my favorite times of year, just wish it didn't signal the end of the boating season.

Great shots! Mid October is the best time for hiking around Lake George. Cool breeze- no bugs and great colors. I dragged my wife up that trail several years ago and listened to how steep it was the whole way up. When she got to the top she was speachless over the beauty.

Makes me miss it even more! The Queen of American Lakes!!! Just spoke to my parents who live on Lake George, across from Rodger's Slide (Roger's Rock). Their boats out, the docks out and they are thinking about next year already. They said it was snowing this week but a few die-hards were out boating with ski hats and gloves. This time of year I do love Sarasota but alway miss Lake George, no matter where I live.
