There are races this Sunday on East Lake Toho, here in Kissimmee, Fl. Donzi is definately representin, fo' sho.

This thing was also there. Not sure what it is, but it has a bad-a$$ volvo drive on the back.

VOLVO DPX drive...Never seen one in person, read a lot about them tho. Look interesting, but they are not a SURFACE piercing drive from what I have been told. Just slippery and strong and counter-rotating, and "new".

The green boat....Ocke Mannerfelt design bat boat. 24feet long, 8 1/2 foot beam, Volvo Penta 5.7liter, 315hp engine with a 1.78:1 Duo Prop drive. in 3 foot chop that setup will run 82mph radar. Handles 5-6footers (occasional 8) pretty good for its size...3000lb...Acceleration is pretty crazy, compares to twin engined cats!! You can race one with Reindl Powerboats out of Cincinnati for 3500/race, or 25k for a season, 1st place points standing is worth 33k.

Bob, is that at the Big Bass or Big Fish camp? I've been wanting to go there and spend a weekend at one of the cabins, maybe when I get the 20 back together.

I really appreciate the offer. I did not get back and down to the lake until close to 2:00. I just watched the races form around the pits and then went to a party a guy was having on the southwestend at his house.

Hopefully we can hook up soon. Hope the new house is going well.

Reindl and his racing program are a sponsor of the AOTH III. He will probably have his open cockpit 28' boat there for demo's.

I personally have raced one of his boats and quite frequently help him test them here in Cincy. They are AWESOME! All I can say is drive one!!
