I am toying with the idea of obtaining this 25' boat. It has a 496 Merc in it. Anyone know anything about it?

Horsey, I went ALL over a boat exactly like it recently, same color scheme. The wood looks like an *upkeep* issue down the road, but it's an AWESOME *trendy* cruiser. Overall build quality was very good and attention to detail was very, very good. Merc 496HO FWC has best resale down the road, but the Volvo seems like the neat ticket.
Best inbound deals I have seen, are new giveaways or 2 year old slightly used models. Depreciation from new is outrageous for something with as good a name as CC has, IMO. There was an EXACT boat to this that just sold in Naples, Fla, 2 years old, for 35k, that had LOW hours. Owner took a 30k++ beating..

Good luck..

I had them in inventory till late last spring, had a parting of the ways with the sub dealer. I got to check every inch with clients, I think it is a great boat. My thing was it was tooooo expensive and extremely hard to service, our mechanics damn near threw a party when we dropped them. All tha said I would love to have one, it is very well built and a classy ride. How that for mixed emotions, like a mother in law story!
