Things I learned at Lake George 2003
http://www.donzi.net/photos/CDMALG1.jpg

Friday Night:

I can make it in 5 hours even with traffic…

Cliff stop chewing on your legs

Scott refuses to put away his middle finger

http://www.donzi.net/photos/CDMALG5.jpg

Cliff would be really really mad if I posted the good pictures of him

Scott says “ I will buy all the drinks tomorrow night if you wakeboard behind Geoo’s
boat”….Chris thinks about this.

George and Jim arrive, Rocker plates look fast. Nothing is cooler then being able to bend 3/8” Aluminum.

Scott: “ I am gunna put dem on my Hornet”

Matty: “ Paint emmm Purple”

You want to kill him, but you just can’t help but liking him.

Saturday:

Dan is hysterical

Lake run with George and Jim:
Ocifer: How fast were you going?
Us: ( while looking at the GPS speedo)….uhhhhh
Ocifer: Faster then 45?
Us: Uhhhhh
Moral of the story: Stopping to check the engine after a 100 mph pass is never a good thing.

Rocker plates work well….more bow lift I say more bow lift.

I will tell you going back at 45 takes a lot longer then getting there at 90…

Geoo’s Boat can be a family boat, another cop didn’t think so…

That crazy chicken boat runs great…well so far

Kenny and Martha are Cool people

http://www.donzi.net/photos/CDMALG4.jpg

A Criterion is a great Keg/wakeboard/food hauler. Complete with external screw holes.

Cliff and Scott are great friends

Who put that Diaper in Scott’s boat?

Think he will find it tonight?

Sunday:

Three guys in Mighty Mouse can not take a leak in peace.

The Cops will follow us all over

Matty the Pirate

Muscles hurt I never knew I had

Scott you missed the hot babes climbing the rock…

George gives Jim and I the boat, we take the girls out, just as some little punks in a 25 Elininator need a whipping…

Cliff: Hey Scott can I have a ride?
Scott: NO

3 PM. I really need to get going.

Scott: Chris the boat isn’t running right
Chris: When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?
Scott: Ummmmm about 15 years…
Chris: Cap, rotor, plugs?
Scott: Same
Chris: Well I think I have a couple guesses…

Cathy: You are lucky I got him to change the oil

4 PM. Maybe I can stay a little longer

4:01 Scott and Cathy: You can stay over with us…

5 PM: I need to go home

6 PM: Maybe I can stay

Matty the Mad Griller…

Where is the diaper now?

9 PM: Staying was such a good call

3:30 AM: Why did I stay???

Thanks again to Eddie and Augusta for hosting another terrific Fall Picnic!

Things I learned at the Fall Picnic....

:( DON'T Talk to Strangers... "if you go over there, I'm going to kick your butt" eek!

Heather likes to party!

All the girls like to party... apparently we were a little too loud for our neighbors

Marie and Matty know how to pull off a bbq... Matty is the KING of the grill

Chris can wakeboard behind Mighty Mouse... I have the pictures to prove it.

Mrs. Crosby takes a little nap in the back of Black Hawk

Geo leaves the daiquiri wacker at home... but Jerry comes to the rescue. She makes some mean Frozen Margaritas :D

:D The girls drive the boats... Cathy, Diana, Martha, Jerry and Liz....
Marie almost drove the 22... maybe next year!

Danny is the best biggrin. ... he gives me the keys to the 22 and says "go take the girls for a ride" wink

Thanks... I had a terrific weekend!

Enjoy the photos! ACDOA Events - Fall Picnic (http://atlanticcoastdonzi.com/gallery/LG_Picnic_03?&page=1)

some more ramblings on Lk George.

Thanks to Dan and Liz, with your encouragement Marie drove the 16 when we got home  Thanks for the pics!

Don N and Kim sorry for the mix up Sun nite but I think we had a good time ,Thanks for the blue tequila wink sorry you couldn't have stayed longer Monday.

My kids when they were little, we're not has quiet as George and Heather's, They are adorable.

Cliff I hope letting Di drive the 16 will provide motivation to get yours going wink . Call me I'll be there to help.

B.Y.O means BRING YOUR OWN

Chris seriously you set a good example for the younger generation, responsible won't drink and drive, and got your tired butt up in the wee hours to drive 4 hrs to get to class, paying attention here Joe! :D

Kenny and Martha, hope you had a good time even without your boat. Hope you had a safe trip and got to see the game on sunday.
btw Kenny the boat is running much better parts on order.

Scott and Cathy thanks for everything all Jamie can do is talk about water skiing. now maybe I can leave the tube at home :D

Well Fasteddie and Augusta went out in style whoever takes the reigns has a tough act to follow!

If you weren't there get there next year

Matty

I learned,
Eddie & Augusta are great L.G. ambassadors.

Chris is quite the wakeboarder and the ladies luv him !

Dr. Dan keeps a Donzi flag in his back pocket
( just in case) :)

Matty"s boat is a blast!"Where'd i put that reg.?"

Disney World could hire the best engineers and never come up with a thrill ride like Mighty Mouse.

Martha and i look forward to seeing everyone again.Thank"s to everyone for a great time !

Some observations from my Lake George adventure.

My trailer really can go 200 miles in one day. (I had my doubts.)

You can tow an 18 with an S-10 but bigger would be better.

You can launch an 18 in 20 inches of water with an onshore breeze alone, but it's not any fun.

FastEddie puts together a really decent weekend. Thanks again Eddie. I wish I could have stayed for the tour.

Do NOT stand between Scott/Clif/Matty and an 18 they have never seen.

I don't belive Chris could be restrained from examining a barrelback he had not seen before. ("Here Chris, I brought you a flashlight." I said to the bottom of his feet.)

After watching Dr. Dan horsing around in front of the island, I NEED to ride with him in his 22.

Odd Ball was lookin' good.

I didn't meet the owner but Killer Bee spends more time in the air than in the water.

You can fish from an 18. I've seen it done.

You can wakeboard behind Mighty Mouse. (You, not I.)

Is Mighty Mouse quieter in the cockpit? I have no firsthand information on this.

So many 22s I couldn't even begin to sort them out. I do like the stainless windshield frame better than the black.

Liz is everywhere with a camera and a smile. Great shots too.

If you are in a Donzi and stop to stow your fenders, another Donzi will immediatlly appear alongside to offer assistance. (Thanks GEOO)

There are other Donzis in the world. I came across a nice '71 18 at the ramp when I was pulling out. He didn't know about the club/picnic/forum but I expect we'll be hearing from him soon.

You can load an 18 from 20 inches of water with an offshore breeze alone, but it's not any more fun that putting it in.

Street rods and muscle cars everywhere.

Too many new people, not enough time.

Thanks to everyone involved in putting this event together.
Frank,
Looking forward to Dust Off '04

..I missed Ed's Good By speach. Is he really stepping down???
..Frank C. do you want to take over.. :D
.. While riding in Mighty Mouse it is not too loud below 3000rpm's..from 3000 to 5000 it's loud..above that the wind is all you hear.
..Scot still makes great Ribs.
..The cops must had a likein for MM. They pulled me over twice . Once for what looked to the officer like speeding (over 45) and the second time for to many people. My boat doesn't have a people rating just a weight rating and I was under the 800lbs?? Anyway I never got a ticket and he never mentioned anything about noise???
..Heather wasn't too sure, the next morning, if she liked the idea of me taking the kids to bed so she could stay out. eek! (she didn't make the Sunday am run)
..It feels good to know I'm not the only one with a problem....After a WOT run with Chris, Jim and 60 gals of fuel, I hit the recall (98-99mph) we all looked confused is that it ? is she running well?
..Heather liked her 3-4 back/neck rubs.
..It's good to put your kids to sleep every night watching Donzi video's..Hailey drove for 1 mile then fell asleep with her hands on the wheel, George only woke up when we stopped the boat.
..Chris, Rocker Plates are 1/2" ask Cliff.
..Dan's 22 look's great running.
..Thanks Everyone we had a wonderfull time...
..While on the water, it is difficult to take a leak..every Donzi stop by to see if you need a hand.
..I left my daiquiri wacker at home..every time I use it I get injured

Is Mighty Mouse quieter in the cockpit? I have no firsthand information on this. That was intended as a hint, not a question. :D :D

Frank
Let the demolition begin. eek!
