More pics......check out that Gyro stabilized camera on the top of the Police Donzi. This is probably one of only a few cases in which an accessory for a boat cost more than the boat itself?

Oh man, these really make me homesick!

Gasparilla is a reinactment of the invasion of Tampa by (who else?) Jose Gaspar and his band of pirates. Schools are generally closed and there is a parade. Local buisness leaders comprise the Crewe; months earlier their daughters fought the good fight to earn the right make their debut at the balls held after the mayor of the city surrenders. Don't know when or how beads got involved.
