Ok, who wants to get together at the show? I vote for the 1st Saturday. They'll still have brochurs then. Could be gone by the second weekend. Anyway you look at, seeing all the MI friends again will be fun!

Meet at the Joe Lewis statue before the show opens and go from there. Greek town after for dinner.

I'll be there! I know it is a long drive for you, what time do you think you could be at Cobo by?

Any thoughts about what the group purchase will be this year?

I had heard that Donzi was not going to be represented, but it would be great to meet you guys if you've got room for one more.

Anyone know what time they open?

I'm in Westland, MI which is no more than 20-25 minutes (15-20 by Donzi).

Chris,

The more people that show up the better it will be. Scott, any thoughts on what time you could make it up by? It should take Terry about an hour from Toledo.

Sorry all, had to do a little research to find the hours on Saturday the 8th.

Saturdays and Wednesday Noon to 10pm; Sundays Noon to 6pm; Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 3pm to 10pm. Admission is $10 for adults; Free for children under 12 years old accompanied by an adult; Seniors over 62 years old will be admitted for free on Monday (Feb 10).

I will probably leave Columbus, OH at 07:00 AM or so to be up in Detroit by around 11:00 - 11:30 AM. If Beth and Allison come with we, there may be a couple extra stops for restroom and breakfast. Last report I saw, no Donzi boats at the show, but we got a very good deal on personalized ropes for our boats last year! Kind of looking for better PFDs this year for the family. Maybe a new GPS with maps so I don't take the wrong turn at Cumberland this year. :D

Goatee - Does the 15th work better for you? I can do either one, although a birthday party will not allow Beth and Allison to come with me on the 8th. How about everyone else? We have a week to pull it together!

Last September I signed up for some boardmanship classes in Lansing for the weekend of Feb. 15-16th. I got a call yesterday that the classes have been moved to next weekend the 8-9th. therefore I will not be able to go with everyone next weekend.

If any of the people that can not make it for the 7-8th weekend would like to go on the 15-16th. weekend let me know and maybe we could make plans.

OK, I'll make the call. Feb. 15th it is. Mark it on the calendar. I'm driving 4 hours to enjoy the day with you all.

Talked to Prefered Marine (Donzi dealer just Northwest of Cincinnati) They are doing a boat show in Wilmington, OH Feb. 20th thru 23rd off of I-71. Supposed to be a new convention center there? I didn't see any advertising on my way back home to Columbus, but they are bringing 4 maybe 5 Donzis to the show. If anyone is looking for a 2003 ZXO, they had a real pretty blue and white one at the dealership with new graphics. :)

Went to the show last year, but didn't see a Donzi display. With four dealers in Michigan: Cass Lake (Oakland County), Cheboygan, Grand Rapids (Walker), and Traverse City, someone outa show up! They had a nice Donzi display in 1998. Saw Reggie Fountain in 1996.

Have fun!

Looks like we have a group of 8 plus depending on how many friends, family, gal friends come along for Saturday the 15th? Show opens at 12 PM and runs until 10 PM. I'm planning to be at the Joe Lewis statue by 11:45 AM.

Everyone like Greek town for dinner plans around 5 or 6? That way if your considering a deal on a new or used boat, 1 you'll have all of us to bounce thoughts off and 2, you can get back to the show easily. Do you think we should make a reservation to hold a table for us? Anyone more familier with the Detroit area than a Midwest OH guy want to take the lead on this one?

Looking forward to seeing all of you again and for some, the first time. Some of you know that while there were no Donzi boats at the show last year, I somehow found a way to put a 22 Classic behind my truck! You just never know what might come your way. My cell phone number is: 614-286-1442

Everyone, I'm sorry to report that I have been called into work and will be unable to come up to Detroit tomorrow. Weatherman is calling for 4" to 6" of that wonderful stuff called snow so maybe work is doing me a favor keeping me off the highway.

Everyone take care! How about a pre AOTH on St. Claire? May have some pretesting to do.
