Hey,
Anyone know where I can purchase or borrow one, or a pair of dollies with casters to put my boat on in the garage for the restoration. (trailer doesn't fit in garage)

RickS,
Your father mentioned a place called "Yard Arm." Would you have a website address or phone # for'em?

Thanks...Nathan

I took the winch pole/bow guide off my trailer and move the boat foward on the trailer, then it fit in the garage? Can this work? GEOO

I'll ask about "Yard Arm". Here's my 18 sitting on the ones he's talking about. They're very useful.

GEOO,
My trailers too long to fit. The Volvo drive is off (already sold it) but I would have to remove the drive too to clear the garage door.

RickS,
Yeah, just like those. Nice picture!

Nate,

PaulO built his own out of lumber. Worked well and I am sure not too much work.

Nate,
I made one similar to PaulO’s that I have mounted on a yard trailer. This cost me well under a hundred bucks to build and the only thing that I need for it is casters. It only takes an hour or two to complete and it’s very sturdy. All that is needed is:
4 – 8’ 2x12
2 – 8’ 6x6
4 – 90deg brackets
Outdoor rug

Here are some pictures of it and excuse the muddy mess that I went through trying to get this thing on the trailer. That was a 2-day affair that I do not want to remember. Look under the “Trailer Episode” for pics:

Thanks Fellas!

Scott,
Depending on the price of new ones, I may borrow yours. I have no excuse for the Sanford Pics other than I'm a slacker, http://www.donzi.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif They're sealed up with the ASD template and WILL be mailed tomorrow.

Nate I built mine out of lumber and put 2 furniture dolly on the bottom they work great . If you take the front tube off your trailer you can get it in the garage if you caddy corner the trailer and then pull it in on a jack.

MadPoddle,
Whatcha mean? You don't think that I plan on using any of the old parts for the restore do you? If they get damaged, oh well, matters. Did you get a good look at that prop anyway, it's big and really odd looking.

I talked to my dad, he was unable to find the information but told me YardArm was in Indiania. I found this listing from a white pages search. It must be them.

The Jacks in the picture are the exact setup they used when they setup my trailer last weekend - it was so easy it was scary!!
