Well guys...Started digging for the new pool. Should be done in a few weeks. Will have to have a BIG Donzi party! Thats me in the hole waving. Took me 5 days to dig it out. Trucked out 180 tandem truck loads. There still is about another 80-100 left. http://www.donzi.net/photos/spearpool05.jpg http://www.donzi.net/photos/spearpool04.jpg http://www.donzi.net/photos/spearpool03.jpg http://www.donzi.net/photos/spearpool02.jpg http://www.donzi.net/photos/spearpool01.jpg

That's a helluva crater. Looks to be about 20' deep. What are the dimensions? Maybe the digger in the pic is on the boat launch ramp? Your own little lake X?

If it wouldn't be so confusing, your name should be changed to Digger.

A pool? I think not. Could it be an underground storage facility for the Donzi museum you plan to open? A bomb shelter for when you own all Donzis in the world and Donzi.net launches missles to recover them? I feel certain that in some insidious way this is connected to the terrorist cell known as the Whinny Bandaids. Inspector Clouseau?

Bunches,

I just want to see a picture with water in it?
Nancy says it will be an orange basement with orange paneling with an orange Moose Head on the wall....
and that is his truck in the back ground...
LOL
Could get interesting from here!
Hell maybe you will mate Tuna in that pool!
By the way ToonaFish, I notice you post in the Donzi girls section as much as the men....?????

How many gallons of water do you think it will hold? 130 feet long, 50 feet wide and 15 feet deep.

Ok everyone....This is not a pool. Its a very large septic system we are building in Manalapan, NJ at a old folks home. Its about a $100,000.00 system. Sand is being brought in starting in the morning. Should take aprox. 200 truck loads of sand. Just thought you would get a kick out of what I do....

I'm like a big kid with very large Tonka toys.

Hey Scott:

What a pool you have underway! Very interesting sediment levels in your photos as well.

Judging by the scale of your photos, must be in the neighborhood of perhaps 50 by 75 or
larger? Depth over 12 ft? Never the less you and your family will be very happy with the results.

Here in MS we have a problem with a soil condition referred to as Yazoo Clay. It appears without discrimination and is prevalent everywhere locally. We use our pool appox 9 - 10
months per year on average, without any aux heating! Fortunately within the past 10 years or
so we have only experienced minor deck movement, this with a 10" thick gunite wall.

Best regards,
Randy

In other parts of the country Texas gold fish are referred to as "Bull Reds" (very big redfish)

Bryan,
No sewer in that part of town. Great for us....Not so good for the owners of the home.

I will have to post pictures of the test pits we are doing in Millstone, NJ. They are for septic systems for these 19 homes. The soil is so bad there that we have to go 40+ feet down to get to the good stuff. You dont even see the machine in the hole. We ramp down 28 feet to get the stick to 40 feet.

thats a mighty big hole. I thought maybe you were at a prison camp and your name was Luke, and you were told to dig a hole. Then the guard tells you to fill it in again...
