1972 Checkmate Jetmate (70mph Jet Boat)

This is an honest to goodness 70mph Jet boat that has the best of everything. The hull needs to be re-done, but the hardware is all there. Joe has over $20K in receipts for this boat and at $6250 it's a steal. The only Mopar powered Jet I've ever seen. If you look at the background of one of the pics at his site, you'll see my Donzi. Why so cheap??

Scot, Cosmetically, the boat is ugly, clearcoat is peeling, lote of nicks and scratches. The hull is solid, it just needs filling, sanding and a fresh paint job. Like I said, all of the rigging is top notch, it just needs to be disassembled, filled and painted and it would be sweet. My buddy Joe is tired of taking it apart and has ran out of resources to finish the hull. Consequently, he had it listed for more $$$, but has had zero bites to date.
