Called the guy several times over a month ago. Never got a return call. I assume it has been sold.

That is the boat I am second in line on. Buyer number one is flying out to see it tomorrow (thursday 09/12/02)). I will know by tomorrow if it is still for sale and will let you know if I pass on her. It is the first factory BBC 20 footer.

Mike, just remember who found her for you. :D
Also, didn't you say that those stripes come off, and that they are just stickers or something?
How fast would this Cig be...ballpark figure?
Cheers,
George

Untouched low 60's, right prop....I dare say, ask Rick (Smoothie).
She's a beauty! How long is that line you are in?

Everyone gets to move up one place. The gentleman I have been holding it for has opted for a 24' Cigarette. (Same as he used to own) I did find out that my '82 is truely one of a kind. The LHD was optioned in for former Donzi owners. It includes a floor throttle but does not have a reverse spin prop because of the extra boat weight. Rear deck was custom built to hold possibly the only 454 the factory ever installed in a 20'. It is amazing what a blank check will do. Anyway, shes been a beauty for me for 10 uears but replaced by new 27'. Lots more pics available. www.frontiernet.net/~rjruss/ (http://www.frontiernet.net/~rjruss/)

Very nice!! Please explain the LHD option and the custom rear deck. My 20 Cig. is LHD and has that exact same engine hatch and rear deck. I wonder if mine used to be a BBC?

there were quite a few BBC 20's built...am looking at the spec sheet for an 81' w/ 454 330hp merc and a TRS posted speed is 70 a few of the other spec sheets i have claim 67 mph 330 merc was standard power in the early 80's mine was is a 74 with a small block volvo and 280 package
no one is moving on this ? I'd like to have one to totally trick out but wouldn't want to mess with one that is original
HP form what i can find the only ones with that raised hatch were BBC but I'm not certain on that ...where is Bahama Shore ?

I doubt if this 82' was the first factory BBC but she shure does howl! cool!
She is like driving a Super 7 with a 454/side pipes and no windshield. :D

Geez, I can't remember the year of my 20, but I think it was an '82. Same hatch, LH Steering and BBC/TRS originally. Repowered with a 454 Mag 385HP/Bravo. Went around 70.
