I know you guys are alway slooking for something. I looked at a 20' Cigarette today in CT. It was too worn for me but appeared to be all there. It is 350 version and is worn but owner claims a lot of new parts. He painted upper and it appears to be backyard special. Posted for $11,500 but he appeared to be VERY negotiable. Nice guy honestly not trying to rip anybody off. It is in CT BARGAIN NEWS. or email me I will dig up the number.

Yeah Jamie, I have been looking at it. If only I lived closer. That thing would be some fun and a worthwhile "project".

Baot in CT I think was early 80's and was told it was a 20'. I can't see that EBAY boat being a deal unless you had another with damaged hull. There are 2 of then complete for between a negotiated $8-10k. One in CT other on BoatTrader.

Sean,
the info we had said the 20 came out in 76-77, but you are right the hull is the same, we have measured it out to 19 and inch or so, when we pulled the buckets seats apart the ply wood had hand written built rite cig 19, so that confirms or thought that the boat is a 72, it was bought in jan of 73 at the ny boat show supposedly right from Don A. himself, if you can pass on any cig info you have it would be great.
and let me tell ya the work you did on that 28 was beautiful.

I spoke with the owner of the $2800 Hull a few days ago to see what he'd be willing to take. He's not willing to drop the price and plans to just hold onto the hull.

I gotta wonder about the glasswork in the hull. Has it been left like this for 15 years? I am thinking a $K tops. Where is the windshield?

Hey gang, I can use some help. I am very interested in doing a Cigarette project. I have built 2 boats from the stingers up. While the 20 Cigarette on ebay is a full blown project, too much of it is missing. The 2 on Trader-on line are too high to start from scratch. I would really prefer a 24' boat, but will certainly take a 20'or 28' :D . Does anyone know of one for sale? My home email is badnews@planetc.com and work is dale.mcpherson@upbna.com. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

okay...so it sounds like this guy is stuck at 2800 for this project...I spoke to my friend here at kryptonite boats, who would do the stringers and that looks like it's gonna cost in the neighborhood of 2K...so at this rate, this project ain't really worth it...unless...

hey chris, you got any room in your donzi barn for one of your cousins???

btw, matty, i think you posted pics of your friend's boat already, but we'd love to see more...good luck with it! thanks for the compliment on the 28...i'd really like to find a worthwhile 20 to completely restore, but this one on ebay and lookin so good...

And what ever happened to the blue one that one of you guys found in swamps behind someone's house??? it's the one we had a video of where the trailer broke while backing it up...now that boat looked like a score!

if true, i hope the new owner posts some pics...

btw, I thought you had a link to pics of yours...I'd love to see some pics.

Zinger if you are guy with brown and white in CT you should post on here because I had about 5 emails asking for your number. I am not sure if I posted correct. Your boat is probably great deal with all these guys going after that 1/4 of a boat on Ebay. Like I told you that day it looks like great project that needed quick redo. Good luck!!You were actually one of the few non ass!@#4 out there.
