Well heres my motor with 9:1 cr and a hyd.cam,Weather permitting I will put it back in my ride this weekend.

I can hardly wait for the ice to melt on my local mudpuddle so I can go for my first spin. :p

Looks great ! Sorry to say I don't know what it is. How about sharing the nuts and bolts (no pun) of your project, nice John Deer by the way.

Yes,it is a nice Deere,to bad its not mine,its my buddies who's doing the motor(I will be doing siding on his house this summer to return the favor) :( as far as the motor goes its a chevy 454 bored .030 over,the block has been decked and line bored with 4 bolt mains,a balanced forged crank with extra oil holes on the journals large oil pan with wendies tray,cc'd rods,cc'd forged dome pistons,engle cam,427 alum heads with 116cc closed chambers,torker intake and topped off with 850 dp carb.I think I have all this right!

So I guess in laymens terms you could call it one mean fire breathing Donzi machine, I like it.
By the way where is Canal Fulton Ohio ?

Canal Fulton is an hour south of Cleveland,close to Canton.

Yes! finally I got it in the water,Left work early on Tuesday and headed for the lake,the motor ran like a dream,didnt get it opened up but it was great to hear the rumble behind me and the breeze in my face :D Im going to take it out again saturday with my buddy that did the motor and take alook at the plugs and maybe change jets in the carb.Maybe we can open it up for just a little bit wink

Cool Rick I'm hoping to do the same I've got my drive back together & am droping tonight weather permiting on the Ol'Miss that is.....
