------Am trying to help a friend sell a 24ft. boat called a Twister 24 that I havent seen in person.By the pics(which at this point arent good) it looks very much like an Excalibur pop.The odd part is that its got a 200hp. Merc on a bracket on the rear.Boat was new in 1990 and according to the former owner cost $48,000 then.He says that there were only 5 of these boats built, but then at one point he also said the boat was a DONZI pop which it definetly isnt. The speed is a claimed 65MPH.Has anyone heard of this company or this particular model?Any help would be greatly appreciated!..............ol red............Bill S

Mike,
------The pics I got arent good enough to go to the trouble to convert. When I do get some Ill get em up.This boat has been a Kentucky lakes boat all its life and appears to be in excellent condition, although it does need a good cleaning.Just think Excalibur with an outboard!...........ol red..........Bill S
Found this on the net, is this the type boat?

MOP,
-------Thanks for the try.The name is right, but thats about it.Excalibur hull is a deep-vee 24ft. very narrow boat with a handsome deck design.A search on this site might turn up a picture of one............ol red........Bill S

There's a boat listed as a Wellcraft Excalibur on Ebay right now that has a bracket setup for outboards. You might want to check it out to see if it looks like the boat your talking about.

1996,
-------Thats the hull, but boat Im talking about is a single 200.It will be interesting to see what that boat brings with the twins. The one Im involving myself with has a fiberglass covered bracket.
-------Id also like to see Wellcraft on the title of that boat on E-bay,as I had not known that Wellcraft ever popped this hull.Id be very surprized to find out that the E-bay boat was a real Wellcraft.thanks for tracking the info.I appreciate it..............Bill S.......ol red!
