I leave tomorrow to pick up a boat for my kids, I purchased a 1969 Magnum Maruader. Very few made and I can't wait to pick it up. I remember seeing one at the '68 Miami Boat show but never again. It may be a winter project, but will be ready for AOTH IV. I will post pictures when I return.

It was on Ebay, and I have spoken with the owner a few times in the last couple of years. He has owned it since 1971 second owner. It has a 150 Merc. and if what he told me is true it should be in very good shape. I will let you know on Sunday.

Bigbroadjumper - beautiful boat - looks like a lot of fun

BUT - is that a BSA single sitting in your garage and if so, tell me more?

Yes it is, 440 Victor. My brother and I went to look at an old Donzi (the one with the Eaton) a month or so ago, and the owner use to race that bike. We spent about 2 hours talking to this guy and by the end of the night we had a couple of beers and that old BSA. It seems like all old stuff ends up at my house. 1968 Porsche 912, 1968 BSA, 1969 Magnum, 1974 Magnum. My wife told me ENOUGH!!!!

Just one more winter project.

Bigbroadjumper - I may be willing to help your wife clear some of that junk out. My first road bike was a '67 441 Victor - bought in '75. It was highly modified/customized(or maybe just a bunch of parts) - 500 BSA frame, rear sets, clip-on bars, Norton fiberglass tank, mikuni carb, staight pipe. With the rear-sets it required a bump start - no kick pedal. No battery or instrumentation of any kind - rev too high at night the head light would blow. This ancient single would really run - never had an "official" top speed determined, but know it was better than 115! Man I wish I had it back - traded it on a Triumph Trident - man I wish I had that one back too!

Anyway, if you have thoughs on clearing it out, lets talk
