In the '80's I remember seeing a few Monza's in my area that were very beautiful boats. I think that they were 27' or 28' in length. I've tried to find sites about them but it appears that Monza either went out of business or they are now making open fisherman style boats. Does anyone know where I can find more information about these boats?

There is a Monza Boat Company in south Florida. Miami I think. I have the information at work. I'll try to remember to grab it and provide. The company is run by a former offshore racer, Richie Powers, and they make center console fishing boats.

Thanks guys;it appears that is the same company. I wonder why they stopped making the offshore performance boats and are now concentrating on fishing boats.

I think they also made a smaller one similar to the 18' classic.

Monza also made a GT 21 "Look-a-like." (http://www.donzi.net/photos/osaffell573.jpg) It isn't a copy cause the strake to chine pattern is Bertram like; Bertram-ish? Other than that, the profile is identical.
