It looks like an old 24' Excalibur to me. Nice looking boat.

It is a 24' AeroMarine. I was thinking of buying it. I just can't to seem to buy a non-Donzi boat. The owner is asking 12,000 OBO. It has a 475hp 454 / BravoI. I like the fact that it has a cuddy with a hatch. I don't like that it is only 6'beam

Thinking about it. Hmmmmmmm

Mike,

------It may be an Aeromarine by name, but its just another Excalibur pop to me.I think this hull and deck may have been popped more than any other.Didnt Sunsation also pop it early in thier business life?Possibly the only more copied boat on earth is the 18 classic and many of the 18s that have been done at least had somewhat different deck designs.
------With that said, hulls are copied for a reason.Usually its because they are popular for thier looks or thier performance. This design has always intrigued me.........ol red!.......Bill S

I have heard that they did ride exceptionally well at speed, but wondered when off plane due to the narrow beam.

We've had several versions of the Excaliber hull in my area including the original. I'm on a very choppy lake with waves in all directions. That hull around here is known to be unstable in the cross waves. Most of the people I know that have owned one will not get another. They often replace it with a 24 Thunder or Cig.; which happen to be cousin hulls to each other.( The Thunder being taken from the Cig,. of course.)
